During our trip, we visited several historical places, places related to the 35th Infantry Division (and of course to the 29th Infantry Division). What follows is a selection of photographs we've maid during the trip.

Chappelle de la Madeleine (Saint-Lô)

Part of the interior of Chappelle de la Madeleine.

Three Regimental Flags of the 35th Infantry Division (from left to right: 137th, 134th and 320th).

Church Sainte-Croix (Saint-Lô)

Church on Place Sainte-Croix (Saint-Lô).

The church in 1944. Members of the 29th Infantry Division layed down the body of Major Howie on the ruins of the church.

Monument for Major Thomas D. Howie (Saint-Lô).

Cemetery of Saint-Lô

Familytomb of the family Blanchet (during WW2 it has been used by the 29th Inf. Div. and the 35th Inf. Div. as a CP).

The back of the familytomb where you still can see the war-dammage.
